CREATIVE PRESCHOOL

Classes will be held Mondays & Wednesdays 9:30am-12:00pm.
A thirty-week session begins on 9/15/08 for ages 2 and 3.
(Students must be 2 years old by 02/15/08.)

We’ll teach your child the skills to be successful with the power of musical learning.
Students will learn through a variety of hands on experiences. Our curriculum includes: Music, Preschool academics, themed lessons, free play, circle time, socialization, art, drama, field trips, a provided healthy snack each day, a combination dance class (45 minutes per week), and MUCH more! Our program helps to build skills for your child’s long future of lifetime love of learning by helping him/her to develop: coordination and balance, hand-eye coordination, creativity, memory, concentration, listening skills, vision and focus, problem-solving skills, language and early literacy, good working habits, self-esteem, social and emotional skills and more - all with the power of music! Research has proven that music exercises parts of the brain useful in mathematics, spatial intelligence, analytical thinking, spatial-visual development, memory, rhythm, independence and many other intellectual pursuits. Children with exposure to music score higher on IQ tests than children with less musical exposure. Brain development is maximized when children are exposed to repeated positive musical experiences, beginning as early as possible, because these activities nurture the connection of neural pathways.

Our lead Creative Preschool teacher, Cheryl Woodard is a permanently certified NYS Teacher with a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education. She is also a licensed Kindermusik Educator. (Visit www.AllStarsTalent.com for her full Bio.) Creative Preschool students will be taught by Mrs. Cheryl along with well qualified assistant instructors. The included dance program will be taught by AST’s Director/Dance Instructor Tammee LeClair. Other highly qualified guest instructors will also join us to work with our Creative Preschool students on a regular basis for special lessons and projects.
Tuition: Four payments of $325, per student (Due by: 9/1/08, 11/1/08, 1/1/08, & 3/1/08)
• Family discounts are available.
• A $50 per student, non-refundable, registration fee must be included upon registration to hold your child’s class space.
• Students will be given the option of performing in the AST annual Recital in June. Additional performance, costume and supply fees will apply for those that choose to participate.
• AST Creative Preschool students will qualify for discounts on other selected AST classes.
